My family and I had a great dinner at Benny Chows to celebrate Houston Restaurant Week. Because we were a party of 7, they sat us in their private room which was beautiful and intimate. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We really liked how they had a large HRW menu which was perfect to split family-style. My favorite appetizer was the crab rangoons which was pillowy soft and had actual chunks of crab. The best entree was their version of shaking beef; it was piping hot and full of flavor. My favorite dessert was surprisingly the five spice chocolate pot, the perfect blend of Chinese spices and chocolate. There is valet parking or self-service handicapped parking available beside the restaurant. I'd definitely recommend Benny Chows if you want to experience elevated Chinese cuisine!

Great food, service, and ambiance. Cute for date night or meal with friends. We came during Houston Restaurant Week and enjoyed our meal greatly. Dumplings were delicious. Also loved the lo mein and pepper beef. Drinks were hit or miss. But they kindly replaced the drink we didn't like. I'll definitely be back. So many great sounding menu options I want to try.

We came with reservations to Benny Chows as a party of 7 this Sun evening specifically for HRW 2024. We were skeptical coming in thinking this was just going to be overpriced Chinese food. Luckily, we enjoyed Benny Chows from start to finish. Walking in, the restaurant is beautiful. It's dimly lit for an intimate date night, but we got to sit in this private dining area that had a window view of their crispy, hanging peking duck. Complete with a full bar, the service is great as you would expect from a Berg Hospitality concept. Food wise, we loved how everything was served family style. We would have eaten family style even if it wasn't served this way, but it just made sharing with the table easier. Our favorite appetizers were the dumplings and CRAB rangoons, heavy on the lump crab meat. Entrees our favorites were the orange peel beef, shaking beef, and salt n pepper pork chops. Then for dessert, we liked the 5 spice chocolate pot de creme and refreshing mandarin sorbet. While the prices are definitely higher than your average Chinese restaurant, we thought overall it was worth it for the nicer ambiance and service. Their extra condiments of chili oil, Chinese bbq sauce, and spicy mustard really added a lot of flavor as well. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the dishes that aren't on the HRW menu, like the peking duck. Enjoy!

Absolutely love this place me and my girlfriends came here for ladies night and joined Benny's for restaurant week. I would like to start off with the ambience of the place, nice soft light and very cute themed aesthetically pleasing oriental decor. The food was so good. We enjoyed all of our dishes except for one we unfortunately had to send it back but the manager Richard was amazing. He gave me a great drink recommendation by the way, that was so good we ordered a second round. Our server Zoey, was so awesome and took great care of us. Zoey's menu knowledge and great personality was definitely one of the highlights of the night along with the food! I will definitely be returning to Benny Chows, ch
